Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a residence requirement?

No, there is no residence requirement at Ripple Residence. You can therefore use the home as your permanent residence, a city apartment or a commuter home, or rent it out as company housing.

When can I move in?

The takeover date is December 1, 2026.

When is the Open House?

There is an Open House every Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the model home at Fortkaj 8, 1st floor. Everyone is welcome.

Access is from the water side toward Kronløbsøen. For safety reasons, it is strictly prohibited to walk around the construction site. There may be a wait if many people show up.

Is it first come, first served?

No. Anyone interested can apply for housing. If multiple applicants express interest in the same unit, the landlord will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the applications. We then strive to accommodate as many requests as possible and allocate the units based on overall demand.

What happens when I'm offered a place to live?

The contract must be signed no later than 2 days after you receive it, and the move-in payment must be made no later than 5 days after that. This applies even though move-in is not until 1 December 2026.

What does the move-in payment consist of?

3 months' rent as a security deposit
1 month's rent paid in advance
First month's rent, including utilities

What is the notice period?

The lease is non-cancellable for the first 9 months. After that, the notice period is 3 months.

Can I have pets?

Yes, pets are allowed with the landlord's approval. The pet must weigh no more than 25 kg.

Are the floor plans final?

No, the current floor plans are for reference only. Closets have not yet been included in the plans. The landlord plans to install closets, and their locations will be specified later.
